How I Work

I started Portraits by Janai in 2025 to make photos that look like the people in them. Most sessions happen on location, in places that mean something to you or places that simply have great light.

Before we shoot, we talk through the look you want, what to wear, and where to go. On the day there’s no pressure to pose perfectly. I’ll guide you, and the best frames often come from the moments in between.
